- This unique design offers an economical solution to accommodate growing children. With its durable construction, the Zen bed is made to last, allowing use for multiple siblings or grandkids in the future. Only the finest quality materials are used in the construction process; solid American kiln dried maple and solid wood veneers over engineered hardwood are used in the bed elements.
- Our premium-grade solid woods and solid wood veneers are sustainably harvested from domestic sources. Our veneers are created by slicing thin sheets from solid wood. Using veneers in combination with solid wood gives greater stability while reducing expansion and contraction due to humidity.
- Three storage drawers are included to maximize storage space and they are constructed with the toughest birch plywood with two layers of maple veneer, paired with full extension ball bearing soft closing drawer glides which ensure smooth motion and extra safety. All pieces are hand sanded and the drawers are hand painted.
- No box spring is needed. Bed frame fits standard twin or full size mattress (not included). The mattress platform is made of hardwood plywood slats for extra strength; designed for a clean, modern aesthetic.

I reached out to Nico & Yeye after seeing their etsy page for a very special project - a custom sized daybed with drawers. We have a very narrow space in our office which is long enough for a queen, but too narrow for a twin bed. N&Y worked with me to design the correct size, confirmed all the measurements, provided advice on whether we wanted a railing, what size our mattress should be, etc. Communication was excellent - Olga was always keeping me up to date on where the bed was in construction or transit and it arrived exactly within the week that we needed before we had guests over. The white glove service was also excellent - and they were done with construction in a matter of 30 minutes. Customer service and build quality are just astounding! If I had space, I'd order more of their furniture for my home! Highly recommend!

I am currently waiting to hire two handymen to set this bed up. Clearly I can’t do it by myself, or with a friend, it’s so heavy I can’t even move it from where it was dropped in the driveway. More when I actually get it moved to where I need it and assembled!
